Hey, its nice to have you here.
I am in the very beginnings of creating a new body of work. The goal of this work is to investigate emotion and resilience in order to develop a sculptural representation of the lived human experience and internal voices many of us contend with on a daily basis.
Previously known for my one-of-a-kind hand sculpted insects and graphic ceramic platters, I used clay and glazes to make whimsical ceramic sculptures of love-able and sometimes creepy insects.
Currently, while utilizing my knowledge of ceramics I am also learning glass, a medium new to me. Through sculpture, glass, and potentially light and sound, I aim to create a fully immersive 3D experience highlighting brief moments in the everyday human psyche.
